December 5th 2011

Hey Everyone

I Finally got my package on Saturday and I was so excited to get it. When I opened I was really excited for the twinkies and the oatmeal cream pies MMMMMMMM Yummy!.We haven't got milk yet so I'm saving the Lucky Charms (I like marshmallow mateys too cause they come in a massive bag). Me and Elder Strombom drink milk sooo much. We drink like 12 pints a week or so (3 gallons) hahaha we love it. We found out last night where everybody is going this coming transfer for christmas and guess where I get to go. HAHA I GET TO STAY HERE! This area will be my six month area and I'll probably have only 4 and a half or 3 month areas from now on. but anyways I am very excited to stay here in Sittingbourne for christmas with Elder Strombom. We have such a good time working and being together we really enjoy it. We have some good laughs at peoples doors and we have definately left good impressions on every one we meet. It is such a fun job sometimes. But it is a bit hard when people have no kindness or decency towards you. I've been sworn at hahaha and a few other rude things but me and elder strombom will just blatantly laugh at that person because they have no Idea who we are and if under any other circumstances they would never but just because we asked them how they were doing that day they tells us to (Go Fly a Kite) :) HAHA you just have to take it in stride and just say your choice even if you don't know what we are talking about. Aaron and Luis I hope you got your letters and Large Envelopes of parting tokens. Hope your not to nervous. It sucks to get on and off the plane but after the first night you should be fine. Until you get on the plane again hahahahaha then it starts all over again and you gotta learn how to stop random people on the street and talk to them. But I got over my fears a week or so out in the field. You just have to get out of your comfort zone a lot. Just relax and be yourself with people don't try too hard to impress. If you show them you are normal and just truly care about them they will immediately begin to like you. I see many of times a day when I stop someone and automatically they are on the defense and don't like me but when they get to know me within about a minute or so they realize I am a normal happy person who just wants to share a great message of hope and happiness. It is a blessing and my social skills with people I don't know have improved significantly. I can literally stop anyone on the street that I want. You begin to walk down in P-day cloths and just want to talk to everybody its a habit and a constant thought now. Its quite fun to have but anyways. Good luck out there and remember Preach My Gospel Is where all the answers are at. Treat that like scripture (it is) the Brethren have made it for us to utilize and how to know all answers about life are in that book. Write me at the mission home and give me the info about your mission homes as well and I'll write to you guys as well.

I love being here and I cant believe 5 months have come and gone in such quick time. I remember when it was warm outside like it was yesterday and I was sweating at the MTC and now it's nearly Christmas. Man this goes quick.

To My Seesters

you guys are the greatest sisters I could ever ask for. I have been thinking about you guys so much lately and I was thinking about how much fun we have together and how our personalities are so different but so much the same and complimentary. It is such a fun thought to think about how we get to be crazy and fun for the rest of our lives and beyond to eternity. I love you guys and I treasure every good time we have had together. I am going to talk to My Mission president, we might be able to skype this year for christmas and I really hope we can because I want to see you guys. only 20 days left

I rush downstairs so happy and lo and behold it's for Elder Strombom who wasn't expecting a package. Hmm Dang so we waited a little while longer while cleaning dishes and I heard it ring again. YIPPEEE so I rush downstairs and ITS ANOTHER ONE FOR HIM! What the heck. And Hes just smiling and all I could think of was you've got to be kidding me. But oh well I'll get it soon. Oh and save all the other letters and packages until I let you know on the 6th if I stay here or if I go because Ive been here for 5 months I might be leaving soon. Yaay a package thank you so much I haven't got it just yet but it should be here soon. I have put in my little photo album pictures of Cooper and Riley along with Coopers awesome letter and your hilarious iphone IM hahahaha Nice. I also got the lovely pictures of my new little Niece Kinnley. SHE IS SO ADORABLE its too bad I don't get to see her until she's nearly 2. She is so precious I have all the pictures in my album and I show all the members when we visit. I love showing you guys to everybody. I have been doing very well this week. We had Zone Conference yesterday. Zone Conference is when all the missionaries in a few zones usually 2 or 3 get together in a chapel somewhere in London and have a big 5 hour meeting. Which is a lot of fun because we get to hear from our Mission President and he teaches us and directs us for the first bit. We were really really lucky this time though because we had the Area President Elde Wright whose from Ilford in London. He came in and spoke to us and gave us very inspired advice. It is just like general conference for us missionaries. We learn things and more specifically we learn exactly what we needed to learn just like in conference when you feel like the prophet and apostles is speaking to you you feel the same way in Zone Conference. Then afterwards we have lunch and talk to all the missionaries we haven't seen in a while and then we breakout into zones and the zone leaders give tranings in specific subjects like finding, introducing the book of mormon, and teaching people not lessons. We then roleplay and learn and understand the principles and then return for closing remarks from our leaders and Mission President and Elder Wright and then this time was great because Elder Wright then came down off the stand stood in front of us and let us ask any questions we need. Which was great for us to do to understand a little more about the things we are working on. It is such an uplifting experience and we truly feel invigorated when we come back to our areas and begin to work. Speaking of coming back to our areas we drove back from London and we had to (obviously) Drive through london. Worst experience of my life. I have never been more stressed our trying to read the streets without any street signs and I had to get us to the M25 motorway which was awful. All four of us were sick of it by the end and we just wanted to sleep. It is 30 miles into London and it takes 2 hours to get to where you want to go. To get a good perspective it is a 35 mile drive to ASU Tempe From Queen Creek and I made that in 45 sometimes 30 minutes if I was lucky. Sheesh This place is insane when it comes to traffic. Remember that America is such an easy place to drive and when you go into phoenix and you complan or when you're on the 60 at 8 in the morning do not complain, I drove to London in a 4 door sedan at 9 in the morning straight through the smallest crossing of the River Thames and we sat still for literally 45 minutes. There were no wrecks just a BILLION people. No wonder the English are called cold hearted they gotta do that everyday. I would be cold hearted too if I had to do that every day. But the City Was amazing. One of the most beautiful places I have been. We took a toll bridge home at night and It Crossed the River and Overlooked the city. Was an amazing site. It makes this job all worthwhile.

Remember what is important and always look for the beauty in everything. The Glass is Half Full not half empty.

I love you all so much and I miss you guys.

November 16, 2011

Hello Everybody,

This week has been quite a crazy one here in England. We didn't take our P-Day on Monday because, on your mission here President Patch allows you 1 football game or 1 musical to go to. So Elder Strombom and his childhood friend are in the same mission and they found out that Sweden is playing against England in football so they called president up and he approved it. WOOT! They got to go to the game and have a blast. Me and Elder Toth ( Elder Lundahls comp.) Stayed in Wembley and worked while they went to Wemley stadium and watched the game. I want to save my chance to maybe see Wicked or Lion King or Phantom of the Opera here in London. How Epic would that be. But we had fun and we had a bit of a late night. (It's okay president knew about it) We were in the Tubes at about 11 and then got on the bullet train for another hour and a half to get back down to Sittingbourne. It was really fun though. We past through our district of missionaries, Gravesend, Gillingham 1, and us (Gillingham 2). G1 covers a good ol town called Rochester and I know a few of you know the significance of that area. Charles Dickens loved Rochester and the people of Rochester loved him. So much that at a certain time in Christmas they dress up like characters from the books. When you read the books some take place in Rochester. Which is quite cool. But anyways we passed through and when we were close to sittingbourne. We heard a comotion in the back of one of the cars and we looked back and saw this Chav girl trying to get her wasted boyfriend to wake up. he was out and didn't wake up. He then started swinging at her. What?! Crazy drunk chav. So she got off at the next stop and left him there. What a dork he didn't wake up to get off and in turn missed his stop. By the time we got off he was still out cold and that train was headed to Ramsgate. Another hour and a half away from his stop and it was 12 in the morning and that was the last train going anywhere till about 5 o clock in the morning. Well we get home and get to bed and its about 1 o clock and I just start laughing while we are about to go to sleep and Elder Strombom looks at me and says " What are you laughing about" and I say " Do you think they've kicked him off at Ramsgate by now" Hahahahaha he has to spend about another £10 on a ticket home all because he wanted to sleep longer. Wow. the people you see on the train in the middle of the night. But anyways. I hope you guys are all doing well I am trying to send out letters as fast as I can write them. Hopefully you recieve them soon. I love you all and remember that you are some of the most blessed to live in such a wonderful country. This plave is certainly a Godless country and it is very very worldly. But it is a lovely thing to see people make the changes in their lives to truly become closer to our heavenly father. Remember the blessings you have recieved each day. I love you guys.

Hey Misty

It sounds like you guys are having a crazy time back home.I hope that you are all doing well other than the crazy incidences. Josie and Trevor I hope that everything turns out alright with the burglary and i hope you guys get everything back from it. You're in my prayers and I hope that you doing okay Trevor without the PS3. I got your guys' Letter the other day which was really fun to hear from Kacie and Karson. When do I get to see Kinnley I want to see her. Please send me pictures. I miss you guys so much. We talked about family in Gospel Principles with everybody and Brother Brown was making me miss you guys soo much because I remember when we were younger and we would just get in little fights about the silliest things and you guys would terrorize me. hahaha I loved it. Kinda hahaha.

This week has been a good week and we have been trying to do a lot of finding to find new solid investigators and we have been fasting and praying and trying to purify ourselves by getting rid of any distractions and only reading and writing on p days and getting up on time and making sure we do what were supposed to do. It really does help you be more in tune with the spirit and it really does help you to know what to do. We were tracting down this road and I felt like we should go back to this other road I have passed who knows how many times and we went and the first door we knocked on lo and behold an african couple who let us in and we basically gave them a few Book of Mormons (Books of Mormon) and we set up another appointment this week which will be great. We are really doing good here me and Elder Strombom are having a blast. Elder Strombom is from Sweden and he is a great guy and a really hard worker. We get along great and we have a few laughs while tracting. We are doing rejection of the week in call ins with the other elders at night. This weeks rejection is

We knock on this door and this guy opens and

Us: Hello there sir how are you today.

Him: Fine, What d'you want?

Us: My Friend and I are missionaries from our church an-

Him: OH that's wonderful (In a very happy tone) and SLAMS THE DOOR

US: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA WHAT THE HECK!

We just busted up laughing. Im sure he heard us too we couldn't help it. Some of the people we meet are great.

I stopped another guy and I said Excuse me sir how are you today

he says Very Jewish thank you in the thickest Israeli accent hahaha love it.

People are a hoot.

This week I am trying to write letters so Hopefully I will get one to everybody

Luis Aaron Jennifer the whole Call family and My Seesters.

I love you guys to bits and peices and remember that what we have at home is a great blessing. England has really put that into perspective for me.

Halloween

Halloween Time was fun we had Zone meeting then we played some football outside in the park and then went over to Canterbury to visit a members home for a halloween party. Halloween is actually quite big in this country. They celebrate with fireworks and trick or treating. Unfortunaley we have been tracting around and have seen people put out NO TRICK OR TREATING signs and they state that no candy will be dispensed from this house. What a bunch of Grumps. HAHA but we saw a few of the houses that didn't give out candy and they had TP all over and had been egged and a few other nasty tricks. HAHA good ol chavy kids. I hope I explained chavs to you guys. A chave stands for Council House and Violent, basically troubled english youth, usually white and thin beyond all reason. They range from adult of 25 or 30 to a kid at around 6 or 7 but most are just obnoxious kids who think they are cool. They're like gangsters but without money or guns or an ability to fight most of the time. Keyword is most of the time, you can get a chav who is an Irish boxer and they are just street punks. Don't mess with them or a bunch will come after you. They look so funny hahaha usually they don't have an education or any intelligence and they usually have a rat tail or mullet hairstyle and they wear sweats tucked into their socks and a tanktop stained with who knows what and they usually just stir up trouble for no reason whatsoever. They are quite funny and they originate from this specific Zone of missionary work hahaha Chatham is a city in the Gillingham I area (im Gillingham 2) and it has the dubbed nickname of Chavham because it is nothing but chavs. If Dr. Seuss made a chav book it would be 1 Chav, 2 Chav, Red Chave, Blue Chav hahaha. So many of them. But on the better part of the conversation I am so very excited for this transfer and the work me and Elder Strombom are going to do because I know that as we work hard we will find and teach and baptize many of the prepared brothers and sisters we have. I am having quite a good time and I am really excited to be here in Sittingbourne for at least 1 more transfer hopefully if im lucky I will spend christmas here with this ward. That would be awesome especially because Christmas will be the time when we have Breakfast lunch and Dinner appointments with the ward members and we get to watch disney movies all day with our zone. I'm crossing my fingers for it. Well I must go now and prepare for the week to come. I love you guys

October 25, 2011

This week is the week of Moves once again! And it turns out that I am STAYING! Hurray! Elder Giusti is leaving for huntington which is next to Cambridge and I get Elder Strombom! He's Swedish and I get to meet him tomorrow which is quite exciting. Everyone who knows him tells me I am a lucky guy so thats a good thing. Not a whole lot is going on here in Sittingbourne. This last week me and Elder Hinckley had a workover and we fasted for 24 hours and did nothing but finding all day long. And it was quite a tiring experience which was still quite good because we have 5 new investigators and it really means that we did reap the rewards of our longsuffering and empty stomaches. HAHA then we went to the Browns house for dinner and we feasted!! Jake Brown is an RM and he got back from Canada Halifax mission 22 months ago and he has this mexican hot sauce he buys in london and its called ULTRA DEATH hot sauce. Me and Elder Hinckley put some on our plate and we both took one bite of enchiladas with this stuff and we looked at eachother like OH CRAP! hahahaha this stuff was basically every pepper known to man stuffed into one and is about 900 times hotter than a jalepenos pepper. We were sweating bullets trying to cope with it but it just wasn't happening we ended up with some bread and milk trying to wash it down. And Brother and Sister Brown were just laughing the whole time. It was quite a fun time. Then Last night we went to a part-member family and had pizza and monopoly which was really exciting. Rob and Layla were married and Rob isn't a member but we had a blast. Rob is a big time businessman and a deal maker so once all the property was up it was all about deals and he was all over the place. The only property he had were the railroads which is only four spaces on the board but he had the most money because of strategically becoming a third party dealer in every other deal. He would fork over some extra cash to support somebody in buying a property from someone else then expect half the cash back in a set amount of turns and he would not have to pay as he crossed those spaces that were purchased. He had a strategic viewpoint of the whole board and what someone should buy and what they shouldn't make a deal on. He would Sell his advice HAHAHA talk about smart. We had a blast and really created a great relationship with him which was really good as far as talking to him about the gospel. Sometimes you need to take an approach that shows how much you care about that person. I can't remember who said it but Luis wrote it to me "People don't care about how much you know, until they know how much you care". In my mission I really have learned how to be a person that people know cares about them and wants to be their best friend despite anything they are struggling with. And I know that that is extremely important in life to show everyone you care about them and that you want to do anything you can to help them. I really truly want you all to know that even if someone isn't to keen on you if you show that you care about them and love them and bless them they will sometimes completley change their outlook on you as a person and you will both become closer friends and gain eachothers trust. I want you all to know I love you and I am so happy out here. Aaron, Luis, and Calvin, It may be scary the first 2 or 3 days but remember that when you get that first person you are teaching and you create a relationship built on trust and love you will see amazing things happen. The spirit testifies in an environment of love and truth not on lies and contention. When you love the people you will talk to the people.

Love you all so much

October 17, 2011

Hi misty hahahah I love it. Cooper is such a character. I hope that the kids aren't giving you too much trouble. I hope that you guys are doing good over there in the heat. Its cold here it gets down to 40 in the morning already, I'm freezing.
I got a good coat and one of those rubber water containers you put in your bed to sleep with MMMMMMMM SO COZY AND WARM! We washed our car in the freezing cold weather this morning and then we cleaned up the flat and I did the dishes and took out the trash. It's funny to see a couple of 20 year olds doing chores and vacuuming and stuff. Not because its unnatural but because we do it very very differently from girls. Like ironing for example if you look at the picture I sent you you will see that we iron with a PB and J sandwich next to us. Or when we vacuum and come to a ledge on the stairs we just pick up the vacuum with one hand and stamp it a little on the stair and call it good. HMM maybe I should do a better job, its hard when the stairs are so small and miniature. hahaha But what can you do. Hopefully you got my letter with my memory card in it with pictures and videos from these past two transfers. Just hold onto it because I might be leaving on the wednesday after next. In my next email I will let you know where I am going or if I am staying The last day I can get a package is tuesday the 25 so be wary if you send something ill have to get it from the missionaries who stay here and it might take a while.

But I am so happy this week. I RECIEVED THREE PACKAGES. OH MY DAYS THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH! Mom thank you so much for all the stuff you sent me It really helps out and I have peanut butter yaaay as well as some pocket scriptures and other amazing goodies!!!! and CALL FAMILY AND JENNIFER YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!

The cookies are still brand new fresh and the album with photos was hilarious and I cant wait to make some chocolate chip cookies tonight mmmmmmmm:) I loved the letters and the pictures and the video of tyler. You guys are doing much better than we ever did in high school which is fantastic. I hope the loud trumpet player was you tyler but I'm a tad sceptical on that note. Was it Preston or someone else? Nonetheless you guys did really good and Bryce is rockin the snare ( even though you could fit inside it) hahahaha just kidding bud. This week has been amazing and I want you all to read a great few verses about the stripling warriors. ALMA 56:42-47 i do believe then Read D&C 6:36 and always remember that Heavenly father is always there to take care of us. Doubt not Fear not.

I love you all so much and I love the packages and Letters they are what keep my spirits up and my enthusiasm.

I love you all

Monday October 3rd

HEY! How are you all doing.
I am doing pretty good over here in the UK we're just spending time over here in Canterbury on P-day and it has been a pretty good day. Just hanging out with Elder Campbell while my comp is in District Leader Conference and we've just been chill in which is always fun. He's actually from Oregon so when Aaron is a year out in his mission Elder Campbell will be home and I told him to hunt aaron down and give him a hard time for me. :) This week has been pretty good and we have just been gearing up for conference which has been quite fun and we got to watch it on saturday and sunday. Which is crazy strange because the times are so different. The morning sessions are at 5pm to 7pm and the next sessions are at 9pm to 11pm and priesthood session was at 10 n=in the morning. It was quite strange but it was still a great experience especially for our less active members and our investigator Tony. He's been doing quite well and will be baptised soon but we don't know if it will be this week or next week. We will have to see how he is doing with everything. It has been rather hot here in Kent and it has been around 26 Celcius 84 F? but It should be cooling down quite soon. It has been a great day today and this past week or so.
Congratulations Josie and Trevor on the new addition to your family I can't wait to see a picture of her. Little Kinnley Rae sounds precious I love it. This week I am sending letters out as many as I can today I'm Sending ones to Luis Aaron Grandma and I will try to send to the rest of the family and my cards to you Misty with pictures. We took a few videos as well I hope those work on the blog. You can see our new flat and our life a little bit. I hope to hear from everybody soon I hope to get a package or letter this week. Ive got my fingers crossed. I always look forward to hearing from you guys because I love you all so much. Please keep me posted and let everyone else know that they should send me some post so I can get more addresses and send it out to everybody. Luis and Aaron and jennifer you should give people a little guilt trip for me ;) and I just received the Davis' letters and picture. Thank you guys so much! I really appreciate it and I am so happy to hear how things are going. Don't give up Dallin just keep trying next year will be much better and more challenging always remember to talk to Mr. Juaros for help he is a really good Trumpet player and don't get discouraged you are really good and hard work will give you the results that you want. Well I must go, thank you all for all that you do, Josie make sure you rest and don't worry about anything . I am trying to get a picture with one of these steam engines for carson because they are identical to Thomas and his friends and I can't stop thinking about it hahahaha. I even whistle the song. Well I love you all and keep me in the loop. Sorry I'm in the apple store and short on time I have to go. I love you guys.

Finally Moved Flats

We just got done Moving yesterday and we got everything packed and unpacked in 2 days. All the moving stuff was in one day and it was good but still quite a hassle. We had our little car that we took stuff in and we had two of the members who were gracious enough to bring their vans so that we could haul the big stuff over. Its so hard to move here in England, It's ridiculous how small everything is. We had to get a couch two tables 4 chairs and our dissassembled beds into these two vans along with all our boxes of dishes and books and pamphlets for proselyting. It was difficult and we had to give our couch to a goodwill service because it didn't fit up the stairs to our flat which I though was hilariously dumb because we now live in an attic. Literally a flat that is in the attic of a big house and all the walls and ceilings are slanted because of the roof hahahahaha how wierd. All our door frames are only about 6 feet tall and I feel like Im going to hit my head every time I walk through one. But it's cozy and gets the job done. I took some video that Im going to send you so you can see. I hope that you can get it on the blog to show everyone because its quite informative. One of our recent converts in the ward came and helped us and saw that are fridge is smaller than the counter and he called it a "Magui Fridge" I think thats how you spell it, hahah Magui as in Gizmo and his friends the Gremlins hahahahaha Freakin funny.
The Bathroom is the same way its built all funny and small. I will try and get that stuff to you on monday and either email it or send you the memory card for it.
It is quite fun here in England and now we are closer to the town centre we can go finding much more and not have to drive there like we use to.
I am trying to write letters to you guys and It takes a long time and I try and do it in the evening so for Luis and the Call Family and Jennifer and Bryce and the rest of the gang look out for letters and if I don't have your address Email it to me so I can write to you ( I have everybody's that I listed). Things are going really good here in England and I have a great Rejection of the week: This one is more of just a comment that I got today, It was raining and I stopped a guy and asked him if he could change one thing in the world what would it be, he laughed and said the weather. He knew what I was looking for but he didn't really want to know. And I am quite glad that he found a clever way to get out of talking to me. I give anyone props for being clever and let them be on their way hahaha.
But I have to go know becaue time is almost up on the computer and I hope that you guys are doing well and I love you all very much and love your emails and letters. Its the only thing that I want here in England besides more investigators hahahaha.
Love you all so much and here is my New address until the end of October (Maybe longer)
Flat 5, Albion House
30 London Road
Sittingbourne, Kent
ME10 1NA (UK)
Love you all!

New Transfers

Hey Misty
It is a real comfort to hear how Grandpas funeral went. It really helps me to know that it was a good one. I wanted to play taps for him but it sounded like it was good. Maybe when I get home I will play taps for him. I am thankful for you Sis you are such a great sister and I know that I am the way that I am because of you and josie and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have spoken with people and told them about grandpa and I know that they feel there is something special about this church and I know they feel the spirit. But I just want you to know that grandpa is now being taugh by the missionaries and that I want to plan a day so when I get home I do a full temple day for grandpa and do his work. I want to do it within the 3 days of being home in two years because I know that it will mean alot to him. Tell Cooper that he's (wierd hand motions)......Different hahahahaha
We quote Nacho all the time and one of the funny sayings one of the other elders in the area next to us says is " It totally sucks to be me right now" hahaha I love that movie. Anyways
This week is the first week of the new transfers YAAAYY!!!! Turns out that I am staying here in sittingbourne BUT!!! We will be moving Flats so that we are closer to town I will get you guys my new address around next week when we move. hopefully monday. Me and Elder Giusti are staying in this area and I know that there is a great work to be done here and it is going to be very very hard work. Its sort of like doing missionary work in kingston where all the good ol boys are. Theres alot of areas in our area that are a little crazy looking. I was on a workover with the Assistant to the President Elder Scruggs and we got to a door and looked inside and it was totally trashed and he looked at me and said "we are SO going to get let into this one" because those are the people who let us in and guess what hahahahaha we totally did. It was hilarious I could not stop laughing, we had a blast tracting and we are going to start making up," you know you've been a missionary too long if......" The best one so far is " You know you've been a missionary too long if whenever you say your name you point at your nametag." I've already done that on P-day and said I'm Elder Wilson and pointed at my nonexistant nametag hahahha it was great. But overall this past week has been pretty good. Today has been especially awesome because last night me and Elder Giusti planned and we do a thing called Celestial planning everynight where we specifically ask Heavenly Father who we are going to find tomorrow and then write down the impressions that come to our mind. So We did that last night and today I stopped to women and began to speak to them, at first they were trying to escape and just not deal with me which is understandable I mean who wouldn't do that. BUT I asked specific inspired questions to get them to talk about life and happiness and the purpose of life. Now my goal at this time is to have them sit on a bench with me for 5 minutes while I teach them a principle, bear testimony, say a prayer with them and then try to schedule another appointment. SO I asked them if they knew the purpose of this life and they said there's gotta be one but they don't know so I said do you want to find out and they said yes. Boo yah I now can sit down and teach them, so I taught them about this life and what happens when we die and they understood it and believed it. By this time Elder Giusti found me and joined in on the conversation and we had asked them their names, Emma and Jane, and Elder Giusti looked at me and I at him and he pulled out his planner and Lo and behold one of the people we planned about the night before was Jane, We knew her name and her haircolor and it was written in our planner. We showed them and they were amazed. I was so amazed because this was my first experience with it and I know that heavenly father showed us the way. This is so amazing I know that celestial planning works and I know that we will always find those that heavenly father has prepared. We see Emma and Jane again on Friday and I am very excited.
So the MTC is going to get the Three Musketteers eh. Luis, Aaron, and Calvin. THIS is going to be sick!!!!!!!! If any of you Get a Brother Coffman or Brother Mcquay tell them Elder Wilson says hi from London. Hahahahaha Don't drink the orange juice unless you want to clean yourself out because that's what it does. HAHAHA
I am so happy for you guys, California is going to get a crazy Awesome missionary and I am sending you a letter later this week luis and I am going to fill it choc full of some of the amazing scriptures that I have found on missionary work and I will send you a list of talks and books to read that will change your mission they are amazing. Make sure to share the list and scriptures with Aaron and Calvin. Aaron you get the same weather as me hahahahaha sweet, it is so nice here right now it just stays at 65 all day long I love it.
I will let you know my address next week and I would love someone to bits if they sent me a bag of Jolly Ranchers. I love and miss them and I know that the Kids in Church will love some if they stay quiet in sacrament meeting hahahahaha.
Pictures are coming soon I will be sending 1 card maybe two because Im filling them up fast. I might send them via email though cause I figured out how to do that and I might just do it.
Rejection of the week: hahaha so I stopped a polish guy and before I even said anything besides excuse me sir how are you he cowarded in fear saying "sorry, no, sorry no interested, nooooooooo" and swiftly sort of ran away. Me and Elder Giusti tried to say its okay and have a nice day but he just ran and afterwards we laughed pretty hard about it. He REALLY didn't want to know what we were talking about.
Well Remember who you all are and what you stand for. Don't let life get you down because we are truly blessed with the best lives. I love you all and I want you to know that this never is easy, But it really truly is worth it.
With lots of Love

Peanut butter and jolley ranchers

Hello Everybody!!
It is so good to hear from all of you guys and I am thankful for all of your emails and letters.
This is the last week I will probably be where I am at in Kent but we shall see what happens. This week was full of work overs and I got to go to some different places in Kent which was awesome and I got to learn a lot about the other areas in the zone. Tonight the Assistant to the president companionship is going to do a work over with us here in sittingbourne so I get to work with the big dogs who are finishing up their missions. So Exciting! And last friday we did a BLITZ which basically means that other missionaries come to our area to do some finding. It was sweet we had 4 sets of missionaries (8 elders) In our town centre contacting people and finding new investigators. On average we find about 1 to 3 new investigators a week and this week we found.......9 new Investigators! AAHAHAHA! SWEET! So we are going to visit all of them this week which is going to be so cool. Im sending my card to you and then I might have to email some pictures as well because I filled up my little card and I started filling up my bigger one. So you will see some stuff soon. Elder Giusti cut my hair for me and I haven't had it this short since Misty and Josie use to cut my hair hahaha so you'll see that as well.
AARON!!!!! HAHAHHAA SO AWESOME THAT YOU ARE GOING TO OREGON!!!! Tell me how did you feel when you read the words didn't it feel exactly like it was meant to be, like you knew it all along. And I hope that you guys keep me posted on everything and LUIS YOU MUST LET ME KNOW WHAT'S UP MY FRIEND! I hope you all are doing well and I can't wait to read your guys' letters and emails its my highlight when I hear how you are doing. If you want to send me something in-between transfer time or you are not sure about if I will get it in time you can always send it to the mission home address which is
England London Mission

The only problem is I won't receive it unless I go to London or my District Leader does. But next monday I will know for sure if I stay or go and It will be the end of the transfer wednesday after next so you will have my address fairly soon.
Mom I will try and Email you later because I don't have time today, we have an emergency transfer of our District leader so we are all meeting up in 30 minutes so just to let you guys know I love you dearly and I will try to email a letter tomorrow, I sent you a letter for Grandpa I tried to write big so he could read it. Tell him he is my inspiration in music and I have the gift only because of him and that I love him very very much. I pray for him every night and I know that religion is touchy with him but let him know that I did this not because I was asked to or because I had to or because it was expected of me but its because this has helped me know what this life is and what is to come and that we are never alone in either life we have our family friends and our Saviour and Father in Heaven I love you all so much and I want you to know I am doing so much and I have become a very different person in just 2 months.

Newt Needs Addresses

If you haven't done so yet-PLEASE email Newt your address so he can write you. He has a limited amount of time to be on the computer on his P-days and reads everyone's emails but doesn't have enough time to reply to them all, he would love to physically mail people letters. So please email Newt your address!!
Also, dearelder.com is not as effective (like it was in Provo) as just emailing him at the address above, he will not receive it same day.

Rejection of the Week

Hey Misty how are you!
Im doing really good over here I just haven't gotten the package yet. :(
But it should be here this week I hope. This week was a little monotonous but it was good.
We went into london for Zone Conference on Wednesday and It was pretty awesome.
President Patch Spoke to us and we got to have a small training session which was awesome. It was all about listening to the spirit
and asking inspired questions. And when we did listen and just kinda wait for the right things to say the spirit would come in like
opening a flood gate it was pretty sweet. We then had to head back down to Sittingbourne, Kent and finish our week out with the usual.
I think something that will be funny to put on the blog is a rejection of the week or something. When we go street contacting we get some really funny
excuses and some wierd people.
So this weeks Rejection is.....(Man with headphones listening to music) Me:"Excuse me sir how are you today- Headphone man: "Sorry mate I can't hear you"
HAHA sheesh is that the best you got. Next time I see him or someone listening to headphones Im gonna go " LOOK OUT THERE'S SOMETHING IN YOUR EAR".
I love the look of people's faces when you start talking to them. It's a face of pure astonishment and it looks hilarious sometimes because it'll change to a repulsive look when they see the nametag. When they say they aren't interested we have to ask them questions like why not or something along the lines of that which will hopefully get them talking. Most of the time they say "I just don't believe" or something in the matter of I just don't. I gotta find a good comeback question to that cause that excuse drives me nuts sometimes. Hahahaha but life is good and I can't wait for my package.
And I hope the Calls email me and I hope AARON will tell me where he is going.

Tyler and Bryce: how is band? has he drove you nuts yet?
Lance and Lori: How are Tyler and Bryce? Have they Drove you nuts yet?
Jennifer: How are you doing. Hows your bro doing? What are the scores perhaps
Aaron::OISHGORHJPJFASPAOJSOHPJAOJFOHSOH and tell people to email or write me cause I don't have a whole lot of addresses. And hows the colliseum

Anyways hope all is well for you all
Love you!!!

Great Progress

Hello Everybody!!
I am glad that you are all writing me and I really appreciate it thank you thank you thank you!
England is great and I have been very busy this week. Last week was very hard and a little discouraging but continuing to work hard is the key to the work. There's and awesome quote by a world famous swimmer and the key to his success was "I stroke when I don't want to stroke, I kick when I don't want to kick. As me and elder giusti have done just that we received enormous blessings. We had 2 investigators last week and this week we now have 7 solid investigators and even a baptismal date. WOOT!!! We have been blessed with meeting those that Heavenly father has prepared for us and we proved ourselves worthy of such a blessing by working hard. I LOVE This place, I end every day with a smile and happiness in my heart. We are teaching a lovely couple who want to get married but don't have a whole lot of money because they are in school and we are going to offer, next time we see them, an opportunity to have a marriage in the chapel and its Free!!!! They have a conditional baptism and they are such a great couple. We have met at least 4 new potential investigators in the last two days and they are GOLDEN! I am so happy and excited to teach and I love the people that I talk to. I think that these past two weeks has been like Adam and Eve in the Garden and being cast out of the garden. We had to know unhappiness or Unsuccessfulness in order to know what happiness was and it is awesome. Thank you soo much for the package, I haven't received it yet but I can't wait to get some peanut butter and goodies! Thank you for all that you guys are doing for me I love you all. Its getting cold here its about 22 degrees C here in midday which is about 70's and it goes down to low 60's at night and Its lovely! Some of the people are very nice and some are not so much but me and Elder Giusti just laugh about it.

I love you all and thank you for all the wonderful letters and encouragement I love letters please encourage others to write me and see the blog.
LOVE YOU ALL!

2nd Letter from England

England is pretty cool I just had my first P-day and we went and saw the canterbury cathedral it was pretty awesome to see it and to see all the history and medieval architecture and artifacts. We all went as a zone to Canterbury, me and Elder Giusti are here in Sittingborne and Kemsley area. It's an okay area its got some nice people in the ward. Sunday was a great experience and there's only about 100 active members in the ward. It was much different from home but the people were very nice and testimony meeting was awesome. The pulpit wasn't empty for more than 10 seconds before someone would get up. Bishop had me start the testimonies and I liked introducing myself to everyone. It was a great experience, we've been meeting with a couple who were just recently converted. Bryan and Carrol. They are so nice and we love visiting them. Bryan bore his testimony and mentioned us as missionaries and he is an awesome guy. He likes to tease Elder Giusti by calling him a different name all the time. Even at the pulpit he called him elder ashty and Elder Giusti and I were laughing to ourselves and shaking our heads. I definately love it here. Even though last week was a very wierd and hard week we did okay. We contacted people on the street for 8 hours on satuday and not one of them stopped. Street contacting is definately my weakest point. It's just difficult to know what to say to them and I try really hard to make it normal and not awkward. Hahahahaha I'll get used to it. We fasted on sunday and we fasted for 3 solid new investigators this week. Numbers are hard here in England and you really have to find the few who want to know. It is a hard deal trying to find people but I know we will this week. Okay so here is my Address!!!!
Elder Newton Wilson
66 Reams Way
Sittingbourne, KENT
ME10 2DG
I would love some peanut butter! the stuff they have here isn't all that good.
I also was wondering if I could use some money from my account for winter clothes and whatnot
since I only have £145 a month that mainly is saved for food if I can.
anything else is EXTREMELY appreciated
and AARON EMAIL ME WHEN YOU GET YOUR CALL!!!!!!!!

In London Now!

MUM!!!! I'm here and I am safe and sound. Sorry I couldn't email you yesterday it was really really crazy. I got to see Brighton Solomon and we went street contacting for about 10 minutes. I was extremely nervous but it has subsided quite a bit now. We had orientation and It was totally awesome. My mission president is a really cool guy and his wife is really cool too. We got to see the chapel in london and it is really different its stacked on top of itself. And they have a real organ with pipes and all inside the chapel. So we got done and talked to the guys leaving and then we sang Call to Serve as our trainers came in. My trainer is Elder Giusti (juicty) he is really awesome and we headed out to a town outside of Canterbury. Us and our Zone (4 other missionaries) left on the Tube for 20 minutes then got on the Bullet Train which goes about 120 mph which was really fun. It even passed under the Thames river which was pretty cool. We got off and got to the church building where our car was and we piled our luggage in and headed off to drop of the other two elders. First we had some dominoes pizza and then we left and went straight to two appointments. Unfortunately for us they both had to cancel which was sad but we went tracting. It was a little nerve racking the first 4 doors but after that we got into a groove and I started knocking on doors it's still a little scary but not nearly as much. We even got yelled at by one guy, HAHAHA he thought we were selling something and shut the door on us. We continued on till 8:30 then got back to our flat and I started unpacking and we took showers and went to bed. The weather is awesome here. Yesterday it was sunny and about 78 and today it's rainy and about 55. I have a better sense of understanding people but it still sometimes sounds like rubbish really. I worked off 2 hours of sleep yesterday and now I'm working on about 7, Why am I more tired than yesterday, anyways things are awesome.
If you could forward this to Misty and Josie I'd Appreciate it very much.
I'll give you my new address on monday when I have it.
I love you all so so much. I love it here and I know I'll grow to love it even more.
I'm off to teach 4 lessons so I'll talk to all of you later.
Love

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NEWT!

Today is Newt's 20th birthday. They won't be able to hand him any letters today written via dearelder.com but he would get it tomorrow (instead of having to wait for his P-day which is Wednesday) so go to
dearelder.com and click on "write a letter" and then click the drop down arrow in the "letter section" and scroll up to Provo MTC (do not select London as he is not located there yet)  His MTC box# is 217. Newt would love to receive a physical piece of mail this way so that he will have more time to respond to people on his P-day instead of reading all the emails and then responding.

1st Letter Home

HEY SIS!
I miss you guys too things are going so awesome here in the Mtc
I came a day late from everyone else and today is the first P-day
It is so awesome here I miss you all but Im not homesick at all. Im too busy to be homesick.
We have about 30 minutes of free time in our 14 hour days. We are in the same classroom for 6 hours a day and its hard to stay awake. But things are going pretty good im just working hard and doing everything I have to do. I'm studying about 4 or 5 hours each day and Im enjoying all the great things that I get out of this awesome study. Me and Elder armstrong are doing pretty good companion wise. But we are really different, we have the same motives and interests like music but we are extremely different besides that. So it can be pretty hard sometimes but I dont mind too much. The elders in my district are going to Wellington New Zealand which is awesome. Then we have another group going to south dakota they're pretty awesome. I'm the only Englander in the zone which is cool but kinda odd. Our district of guys is tight. We all do everything together and we get some good laughs. Like Elder Bleazard. (Elder Blastoise) he is a kick in the pants we played a game ,waiting to get into the auditorium last night, we call it the look and away game.Four of us will stare at a random elder till he sees us then we look away awkwardly then simultaneously look back again. Its pretty fun but anything is fun when you are in a room all day. It is such a great experience here I am soo happy that I got here. When I got on the plane I was scared to death of what was in store for me. I talked to a guy on the plane and he was from queen creek which was really cool and he said he looked up to those who went on missions. (even though he isnt LDS) He thought of it as a right of passage to becomeing a good man. I appreciated talking to him and it was so awesome to talk to someone who was not in the church and to see their opinon of us missionaries. My First day was insane! Since I was a day late I had to catch up with everything else that everyone did the day before. I didn't eat till 5 o clock that night and the food was awesome. This week feels so wierd, time is all mixed up here cause a day feels like 2 and 3 days feels like 1 and a week feels like a day. So strange but Im doing really good, Don't send me food I've already gained 10 pounds and Im trying to eat healthy and work out in the mornings. But make sure that Josie posts my info on Facebook I really want mail and emails. Also If you go to Dearelder.com you can email a message and the MTC Prints it out and I get it in paper that day so one way or another I would love to hear from everybody and I need some family pictures to have that I can post on my study wall. Friends Pictures too to everybody who has pictures please send them I want to show everybody my awesome family and friends. Well I gotta email mom a bit and I only got 13 minutes left.
LOVE YOU ALL and give Riley Bear a hug for me, and tell cooper to get that corn outta my face.
