Hello Everyone
We have gotten into the full swing of things here in Ilford. Its a busy busy area. We go all day long non stop and until night time. I am so tired and exhausted all the time. But it's better than being discouraged. The area is great and teaching and finding are enjoyable. Sometimes we get some crazies out here but you learn to spot them before you stop them. We have had a great time me and Elder Murri, we are just working hard and trying to do our best. We have alot of interesting investigators, we are in east London which is the poor district. There are alot of Arabic people. The call ilford, Little Pakistan, They are very nice people and some are open to the gospel and learning. Some are Islamic and they're nice too. Sometimes you get the bashy or slightly hostile ones but they aren't a problem we just agree with them and say see ya. We are enjoying ourselves. I've discovered something so delicious it can only come from the gods. Instant mashed potatoes and Canned Chili. Soo good. We had it for lunch yesterday and we get a good fill from such a delicious delicacy. I will try and write you guys letters I am sorry I haven't yet. We have been extremely busy. I will try and write and send you letters today on P-day. This place is great and work is abundant. Love you all

Hey Misty
We have had quite an adventure this week.
Me and Elder Affleck were on a workover in Gillingham II last week and we were on our way back to his area to meet up again with our
companions and he gets a call while we are on the Train. Its his companion E. Doyle. E. Doyle has been depressed for a long time and has done no missionary work in the past couple months. President still wants to keep him out here because he doesn't want to send him home. He
doesn't want missionaries to go home and be miserable and regret the rest of their life so he tries everything he can to keep them out. So we get a call from E. Doyle and he says "I'm leaving". Its about 9 at night when he calls. Since he lives in Lester England he can just train home. So he trains home and never came back. We called president and everything and I've been in a trio for this week and we control 2 areas. Its been quite fun and we have got alot of work started in Gravesend which is E. Afflecks area. So we've been busy busy.
I am now finally leaving my first area. I thought I would go back in November but I have stayed for 6 months and it has been great. I am now heading to Ilford which is in Essex (East of London) and it is going to be so great. I don't have the address just yet but I go there tomorrow and then I will email it to you on monday next week. I am so excited especially cause I can now have a P-Day in London which is going to be super fun. I will keep you posted on everything that goes on here in England and I am so excited to go to a new area tomorrow.
Well I must be off and finish packing and saying goodbye to people.
I love you all

Happy New Year!

Hey guys,
It was so great to talk to all of you on Christmas day. It was so great to see you too, and how much you all have grown in just the past six months. Wow can you believe that it's been that long. I sure can't, out here when you are working hard and doing your best and going through your day to day. A week feels like a day. And a transfer (6 weeks) Feels like a week. I will most likely be moving January 18 to a new area, I have been here for 6 months and I am sure that president patch is going to move me. Which means that now the Greenie phase is over and the responsibility will increase as a missionary. I have to work super hard to be the best that I can be and I have set goals this year that I wish to achieve as a Person and a Missionary. This is so exciting to have a new year to be able to accomplish so much. I want to be able to say that this is a life changing year for me and I want to do all that I can in this short amount of time to work extremely hard and become better at literally everything. (Especially my hand writing) I hope that you are all doing well and I would love to hear from you guys frequently to see how you are doing. And Most importantly I want you to make a year plan. This year what are you going to be better at and what skills and abilities do you want to develope and improve? How are you going to accomplish these goals? Be specific in your plans and then pray each night for Heavenly Fathers help and remember to be specific. (Specific Prayers equal specific Blessings) Please do this for me and I know if you follow through with your plans you will see the blessings and abilities you begin to recieve and develop. I love you all and I wish you a happy new year.
Love

December 5th 2011

Hey Everyone

I Finally got my package on Saturday and I was so excited to get it. When I opened I was really excited for the twinkies and the oatmeal cream pies MMMMMMMM Yummy!.We haven't got milk yet so I'm saving the Lucky Charms (I like marshmallow mateys too cause they come in a massive bag). Me and Elder Strombom drink milk sooo much. We drink like 12 pints a week or so (3 gallons) hahaha we love it. We found out last night where everybody is going this coming transfer for christmas and guess where I get to go. HAHA I GET TO STAY HERE! This area will be my six month area and I'll probably have only 4 and a half or 3 month areas from now on. but anyways I am very excited to stay here in Sittingbourne for christmas with Elder Strombom. We have such a good time working and being together we really enjoy it. We have some good laughs at peoples doors and we have definately left good impressions on every one we meet. It is such a fun job sometimes. But it is a bit hard when people have no kindness or decency towards you. I've been sworn at hahaha and a few other rude things but me and elder strombom will just blatantly laugh at that person because they have no Idea who we are and if under any other circumstances they would never but just because we asked them how they were doing that day they tells us to (Go Fly a Kite) :) HAHA you just have to take it in stride and just say your choice even if you don't know what we are talking about. Aaron and Luis I hope you got your letters and Large Envelopes of parting tokens. Hope your not to nervous. It sucks to get on and off the plane but after the first night you should be fine. Until you get on the plane again hahahahaha then it starts all over again and you gotta learn how to stop random people on the street and talk to them. But I got over my fears a week or so out in the field. You just have to get out of your comfort zone a lot. Just relax and be yourself with people don't try too hard to impress. If you show them you are normal and just truly care about them they will immediately begin to like you. I see many of times a day when I stop someone and automatically they are on the defense and don't like me but when they get to know me within about a minute or so they realize I am a normal happy person who just wants to share a great message of hope and happiness. It is a blessing and my social skills with people I don't know have improved significantly. I can literally stop anyone on the street that I want. You begin to walk down in P-day cloths and just want to talk to everybody its a habit and a constant thought now. Its quite fun to have but anyways. Good luck out there and remember Preach My Gospel Is where all the answers are at. Treat that like scripture (it is) the Brethren have made it for us to utilize and how to know all answers about life are in that book. Write me at the mission home and give me the info about your mission homes as well and I'll write to you guys as well.

I love being here and I cant believe 5 months have come and gone in such quick time. I remember when it was warm outside like it was yesterday and I was sweating at the MTC and now it's nearly Christmas. Man this goes quick.

To My Seesters

you guys are the greatest sisters I could ever ask for. I have been thinking about you guys so much lately and I was thinking about how much fun we have together and how our personalities are so different but so much the same and complimentary. It is such a fun thought to think about how we get to be crazy and fun for the rest of our lives and beyond to eternity. I love you guys and I treasure every good time we have had together. I am going to talk to My Mission president, we might be able to skype this year for christmas and I really hope we can because I want to see you guys. only 20 days left

Yaay a package thank you so much I haven't got it just yet but it should be here soon. I have put in my little photo album pictures of Cooper and Riley along with Coopers awesome letter and your hilarious iphone IM hahahaha Nice. I also got the lovely pictures of my new little Niece Kinnley. SHE IS SO ADORABLE its too bad I don't get to see her until she's nearly 2. She is so precious I have all the pictures in my album and I show all the members when we visit. I love showing you guys to everybody. I have been doing very well this week. We had Zone Conference yesterday. Zone Conference is when all the missionaries in a few zones usually 2 or 3 get together in a chapel somewhere in London and have a big 5 hour meeting. Which is a lot of fun because we get to hear from our Mission President and he teaches us and directs us for the first bit. We were really really lucky this time though because we had the Area President Elde Wright whose from Ilford in London. He came in and spoke to us and gave us very inspired advice. It is just like general conference for us missionaries. We learn things and more specifically we learn exactly what we needed to learn just like in conference when you feel like the prophet and apostles is speaking to you you feel the same way in Zone Conference. Then afterwards we have lunch and talk to all the missionaries we haven't seen in a while and then we breakout into zones and the zone leaders give tranings in specific subjects like finding, introducing the book of mormon, and teaching people not lessons. We then roleplay and learn and understand the principles and then return for closing remarks from our leaders and Mission President and Elder Wright and then this time was great because Elder Wright then came down off the stand stood in front of us and let us ask any questions we need. Which was great for us to do to understand a little more about the things we are working on. It is such an uplifting experience and we truly feel invigorated when we come back to our areas and begin to work. Speaking of coming back to our areas we drove back from London and we had to (obviously) Drive through london. Worst experience of my life. I have never been more stressed our trying to read the streets without any street signs and I had to get us to the M25 motorway which was awful. All four of us were sick of it by the end and we just wanted to sleep. It is 30 miles into London and it takes 2 hours to get to where you want to go. To get a good perspective it is a 35 mile drive to ASU Tempe From Queen Creek and I made that in 45 sometimes 30 minutes if I was lucky. Sheesh This place is insane when it comes to traffic. Remember that America is such an easy place to drive and when you go into phoenix and you complan or when you're on the 60 at 8 in the morning do not complain, I drove to London in a 4 door sedan at 9 in the morning straight through the smallest crossing of the River Thames and we sat still for literally 45 minutes. There were no wrecks just a BILLION people. No wonder the English are called cold hearted they gotta do that everyday. I would be cold hearted too if I had to do that every day. But the City Was amazing. One of the most beautiful places I have been. We took a toll bridge home at night and It Crossed the River and Overlooked the city. Was an amazing site. It makes this job all worthwhile.

Remember what is important and always look for the beauty in everything. The Glass is Half Full not half empty.

I love you all so much and I miss you guys.

Hello Everybody,

This week has been quite a crazy one here in England. We didn't take our P-Day on Monday because, on your mission here President Patch allows you 1 football game or 1 musical to go to. So Elder Strombom and his childhood friend are in the same mission and they found out that Sweden is playing against England in football so they called president up and he approved it. WOOT! They got to go to the game and have a blast. Me and Elder Toth ( Elder Lundahls comp.) Stayed in Wembley and worked while they went to Wemley stadium and watched the game. I want to save my chance to maybe see Wicked or Lion King or Phantom of the Opera here in London. How Epic would that be. But we had fun and we had a bit of a late night. (It's okay president knew about it) We were in the Tubes at about 11 and then got on the bullet train for another hour and a half to get back down to Sittingbourne. It was really fun though. We past through our district of missionaries, Gravesend, Gillingham 1, and us (Gillingham 2). G1 covers a good ol town called Rochester and I know a few of you know the significance of that area. Charles Dickens loved Rochester and the people of Rochester loved him. So much that at a certain time in Christmas they dress up like characters from the books. When you read the books some take place in Rochester. Which is quite cool. But anyways we passed through and when we were close to sittingbourne. We heard a comotion in the back of one of the cars and we looked back and saw this Chav girl trying to get her wasted boyfriend to wake up. he was out and didn't wake up. He then started swinging at her. What?! Crazy drunk chav. So she got off at the next stop and left him there. What a dork he didn't wake up to get off and in turn missed his stop. By the time we got off he was still out cold and that train was headed to Ramsgate. Another hour and a half away from his stop and it was 12 in the morning and that was the last train going anywhere till about 5 o clock in the morning. Well we get home and get to bed and its about 1 o clock and I just start laughing while we are about to go to sleep and Elder Strombom looks at me and says " What are you laughing about" and I say " Do you think they've kicked him off at Ramsgate by now" Hahahahaha he has to spend about another £10 on a ticket home all because he wanted to sleep longer. Wow. the people you see on the train in the middle of the night. But anyways. I hope you guys are all doing well I am trying to send out letters as fast as I can write them. Hopefully you recieve them soon. I love you all and remember that you are some of the most blessed to live in such a wonderful country. This plave is certainly a Godless country and it is very very worldly. But it is a lovely thing to see people make the changes in their lives to truly become closer to our heavenly father. Remember the blessings you have recieved each day. I love you guys.

Hey Misty

It sounds like you guys are having a crazy time back home.I hope that you are all doing well other than the crazy incidences. Josie and Trevor I hope that everything turns out alright with the burglary and i hope you guys get everything back from it. You're in my prayers and I hope that you doing okay Trevor without the PS3. I got your guys' Letter the other day which was really fun to hear from Kacie and Karson. When do I get to see Kinnley I want to see her. Please send me pictures. I miss you guys so much. We talked about family in Gospel Principles with everybody and Brother Brown was making me miss you guys soo much because I remember when we were younger and we would just get in little fights about the silliest things and you guys would terrorize me. hahaha I loved it. Kinda hahaha.

This week has been a good week and we have been trying to do a lot of finding to find new solid investigators and we have been fasting and praying and trying to purify ourselves by getting rid of any distractions and only reading and writing on p days and getting up on time and making sure we do what were supposed to do. It really does help you be more in tune with the spirit and it really does help you to know what to do. We were tracting down this road and I felt like we should go back to this other road I have passed who knows how many times and we went and the first door we knocked on lo and behold an african couple who let us in and we basically gave them a few Book of Mormons (Books of Mormon) and we set up another appointment this week which will be great. We are really doing good here me and Elder Strombom are having a blast. Elder Strombom is from Sweden and he is a great guy and a really hard worker. We get along great and we have a few laughs while tracting. We are doing rejection of the week in call ins with the other elders at night. This weeks rejection is

We knock on this door and this guy opens and

Us: Hello there sir how are you today.

Him: Fine, What d'you want?

Us: My Friend and I are missionaries from our church an-

Him: OH that's wonderful (In a very happy tone) and SLAMS THE DOOR

US: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA WHAT THE HECK!

We just busted up laughing. Im sure he heard us too we couldn't help it. Some of the people we meet are great.

I stopped another guy and I said Excuse me sir how are you today

he says Very Jewish thank you in the thickest Israeli accent hahaha love it.

People are a hoot.

This week I am trying to write letters so Hopefully I will get one to everybody

Luis Aaron Jennifer the whole Call family and My Seesters.

I love you guys to bits and peices and remember that what we have at home is a great blessing. England has really put that into perspective for me.

Halloween

Halloween Time was fun we had Zone meeting then we played some football outside in the park and then went over to Canterbury to visit a members home for a halloween party. Halloween is actually quite big in this country. They celebrate with fireworks and trick or treating. Unfortunaley we have been tracting around and have seen people put out NO TRICK OR TREATING signs and they state that no candy will be dispensed from this house. What a bunch of Grumps. HAHA but we saw a few of the houses that didn't give out candy and they had TP all over and had been egged and a few other nasty tricks. HAHA good ol chavy kids. I hope I explained chavs to you guys. A chave stands for Council House and Violent, basically troubled english youth, usually white and thin beyond all reason. They range from adult of 25 or 30 to a kid at around 6 or 7 but most are just obnoxious kids who think they are cool. They're like gangsters but without money or guns or an ability to fight most of the time. Keyword is most of the time, you can get a chav who is an Irish boxer and they are just street punks. Don't mess with them or a bunch will come after you. They look so funny hahaha usually they don't have an education or any intelligence and they usually have a rat tail or mullet hairstyle and they wear sweats tucked into their socks and a tanktop stained with who knows what and they usually just stir up trouble for no reason whatsoever. They are quite funny and they originate from this specific Zone of missionary work hahaha Chatham is a city in the Gillingham I area (im Gillingham 2) and it has the dubbed nickname of Chavham because it is nothing but chavs. If Dr. Seuss made a chav book it would be 1 Chav, 2 Chav, Red Chave, Blue Chav hahaha. So many of them. But on the better part of the conversation I am so very excited for this transfer and the work me and Elder Strombom are going to do because I know that as we work hard we will find and teach and baptize many of the prepared brothers and sisters we have. I am having quite a good time and I am really excited to be here in Sittingbourne for at least 1 more transfer hopefully if im lucky I will spend christmas here with this ward. That would be awesome especially because Christmas will be the time when we have Breakfast lunch and Dinner appointments with the ward members and we get to watch disney movies all day with our zone. I'm crossing my fingers for it. Well I must go now and prepare for the week to come. I love you guys
